Key Features of the Strategy
"Feedback, whether positive or negative, is essentially a means of feeding output back into a system in order to assert control over a process and achieve a desired result. Positive feedback results in continuation of the current process, while negative feedback results in modification (or correction) of behavior" (Evans, 2006).

Positive Feedback
-Given for a job well done -Can be given in public space i.e. team meeting -Boost morals and motivation -Acknowledges good behaviour |
Negative Feedback
-Not intended to hurt, bully or humiliate someone -Has to be done in private -Not a personal battle -Given to improve behaviour |
-Positive feedback is generally easier to give than negative feedback
-It is easier to praise someone than tell them what they need to improve on
-The best way to provide feedback on an area of improvement is through constructive feedback
-Constructive Feedback is given when: employees/students not meeting expectations, errors are being repeated over and over again and/or employees/student’s work habits interferes with yours and/or others around
